Sazerac
Ingredients
- 60ml Jim Beam® Rye
- 10ml sugar syrup
- 2 dashes of bitters
- 2 dashes of Peychauds Bitters
- 10ml Absinthe (rinse)
- Lemon twist for garnish
Preparation
Fill an Old Fashioned glass with ice and add 10ml of Absinthe, stir to coat the inside of the glass and set aside. In a mixing glass, add sugar syrup, bitters and Jim Beam® Rye. Fill mixing glass with ice and stir. Discard ice and Absinthe from Old Fashioned glass. Strain cocktail into chilled Absinthe rinsed glass. Twist lemon peel over the cocktail, wipe around the rim of the glass and serve alongside the glass.
